Mowing is a cultural practice that is extremely effective in producing dense turf, discouraging weed invasion and recycling nutrients. Maintaining detailed mowing records assists turf managers in making mowing regimen adjustments based on pest pressure and other contributing factors.
Ontario Regulation 387/04 requires holders of Water Taking Permits to maintain a log of daily water takings and details of how water takings are measured or calculated for reporting purposes. Permit holders must electronically submit the data on the total volume of water taken daily each calendar year to the Ministry of the Environment.
IPM Notebook® records daily mowing details, daily water taking readings, and automatically creates and uploads the annual data file to Ministry of the Environment Water Taking Record System (WTRS).
